Ornate 19th-century lace collar. It must have been so hard to create something like this! Except for flowers, there are sort of stylized shamrock leaf patterns.

Victorian silk cord appliques, the 19th century. These French appliques are hand-sewn into these elaborate designs, and they were very popular at the time.
