Similarity of Turkish and Ukrainian traditional clothing

The traditional clothing of Black Sea region of Turkey is very similar to Ukrainian national attire. These two countries are neighboring and were involved in wars with each other for centuries. But still Turkey is a Muslim country (the majority of people are Muslims) and Ukraine is a Christian country. Though, the authentic costumes are alike. It’s a little bit surprising.

Here is an example:
The costume at the 1st photo is Turkish (Northern part of the country) and at the 2nd photo is Ukrainian (Western part of the country). There is similar colorful floral embroidery on shirts. Both attires consist of a shirt, a skirt, an apron, and a belt. Turkish woman at this photo doesn't have a headdress, but in most cases women in this country wear them. Just as married Ukrainian women traditionally do.
