Modern Ukrainian male embroidered shirt with whitework. It is made from linen and embellished with pretty embroidery patterns. In Ukraine, it is called “vyshyvanka”. Such shirts are in use and rather popular today.

American tailored jacket from 1895. It is double-breasted with an oversized buttons and leg’o’mutton sleeves. This outfit is the Victorian equivalent of a sporting outfit, in this case, used for cycling.
