Vintage Ukrainian female outer garment called “yupka”. It is a kind of jacket with long sleeves and folds at the back.
The back folds made this garment drape beautifully on a woman’s body.
Also, you can see sort of an inner belt that was tied under the breasts so that yupka sit tighter and accentuated female curves.
There are only 3 buttons: 1 hidden on the neckline and 2 decorative on the breast line.
The cuffs, pocket, and front edges are trimmed with velvet.
Also, here are similar garments on a woman – they’re called “kersetka” and they’re sleeveless and shorter than yupka. But you can see how the back folds drape beautifully and the wideness of the garment.
