The national outfit of Moroccan men. This charming man is wearing a simple but very elegant djellaba (hooded loose robe) with a white shirt underneath, a red felt fez, and traditional yellow slippers worn in Morocco called “balgha”.

Another male robe called “djellaba” from Morocco. The colors are white and cream, and there is a row of decorative buttons at the front. Also, djellaba traditionally has a hood. The man is wearing a matching white shirt underneath.

Lovely modern folk attire from Morocco. It looks stylish and fashionable but the cut is traditional. And such clothes are perfect for Moroccan hot and sunny climate.

Contemporary Moroccan attire. A headscarf protects the man from breathing in the sand in the desert.

Moroccan tagelmust or cheche turban. When you wear a cheche permanently, sweating in it and getting under the rain in it, part of the indigo dye gets into your skin and makes your face blue’ish. Some Berber people are even called the “blue men of the desert” because of their face color.

Moroccan man wearing traditional burnoose, hooded woolen cloak. This cloak is warm (for cold desert nights), comfy, and cute.
