Bright red apron from Zakarpattia region (the very western area of Ukraine), the early 20th century. This apron is embellished with beading, embroidered ribbons sewn to the apron, lace at the bottom, and other decorations.
Vintage folk aprons from central Ukraine, the late 19th – early 20th century. They have a similar rectangular design and are adorned with embroidery and simple trimmings. Costly aprons were made from velvet or trimmed with velvet.
