Tudor leather jerkin from between 1550 and 1600. From the Museum of London. Cute garment.

Lovely 16th-century attire in a portrait. Woman from Nürnberg in a dancing dress by Albrecht Dürer, 1500. By the way, her headdress is called “steuchlein” and it’s German.

Odd 16th-century fashion. Outfit of Maurice, Elector of Saxony. Exhibited in Residenzschloss Dresden, Germany. Wouldn’t it look scandalous today?
