Modern replica of 15th-century male hose or chausses with a codpiece made by historical reenactors. In the 1400s, it was just a flap made from the same fabric as the hose, without any elaborate shaping that we’ll see in the 16th century.

Beautiful replica of 15th-century dress with lovely sleeves decorated with festoons. The dress is made from fine wool woven specifically to hold the edges of the fabric after cutting, so these festoons remain is perfect shape for a long time of using.

15Th-century hose or chausses – high woolen stockings for men used instead of trousers. While female stockings were knee-high, male stockings were much higher.
